Will it fit my 9" drywall sander?

Fits 9"(225mm) hook&loop pads with a 10-hole pattern. Please confirm your pad is 9" and has 10 matching holes.

Do holes need to line up for dust collection?

Yes. Align the 10 holes with the pad holes for best suction; mismatch can reduce airflow and dust pickup.

Which grit should I start with on drywall?

80/120 for leveling; 180/240 for final smooth before primer/paint; 40/60 only for heavy removal.

Can I use it wet? Will it peel off?

Wet/dry OK. For strong hold, install on a clean, dry pad, press firmly, and avoid soaking; drywall is usually dry sanding + vacuum.

Does it clog fast? How to extend life?

Drywall dust can clog any disc. Use light pressure, keep vacuum on, and tap/brush dust off; replace when cutting slows.

Use lower grits for heavy sanding and removing old finish, medium grits for leveling, and higher grits for final finishing. For best results, sand in steps from coarse to fine instead of jumping too quickly.

PSA (peel-and-stick) is best for a strong, secure hold during continuous sanding. Hook & Loop is best for quick changes and frequent grit swaps. Choose based on your sander backing pad: smooth pad for PSA, hook-and-loop pad for Hook & Loop.
